"My journey as an entrepreneur began, like many other entrepreneurs, with the realisation of a major and entrenched problem." - Elina Naydenova, Founder and CEO of Feebris.

Our CEO, Elina Naydenova, talked with Start-Ups Magazine about the reasons behind her founding Feebris, the time she spent working with the World Health Organisation and her PhD in Healthcare Innovation which provided the evidence-base to launch the company.

Elina explores how Feebris' AI-powered mobile health toolkit has been successfully used to identify pneumonia and its severity in India and is now being used in the UK to support care homes and GPs to implement remote monitoring for elderly patients through the pandemic.

Building on this success, I am now working to scale this vision - bridging the gaps in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and community care to support the equitable provision of healthcare to vulnerable groups in the UK." - Elina Naydenova, Founder and CEO of Feebris.

About Feebris

Feebris helps carers to identify health risks and deterioration within elderly communities. The Feebris app guides a carer through a 10min check-up, including capture of vital signs from connected medical-grade sensors (digital stethoscope, pulse oximeter etc.).

Powerful AI augments clinical guidelines and personalised monitoring to help decisions on triaging health issues. In care homes, Feebris can help carers triage the day-to-day health needs of their residents during the COVID-19 pandemic, and also enhance the capabilities of remote clinicians
